WOOOHA there Jester! Lots of salt on the roads and we've had no rain to wash the streets. Make sure you "bath" the little lady before you put her to bed, we wouldn't want no rust creepin up on her ya know?

Bob & Colleen showed up at my house today on the bikes. They said they had a nice ride, the weather wasn't bad, only the tips of the fingers got cold. It sure sounded nice when they pulled into the drive. Hardcore or a little crazy or maybe a little of both. I told Bobby to make sure he wipes the bikes down when he gets home, because there is still salt dust on the roads. Pam took her bike out last year in about the same type of weather and she didn't wipe it down, and next spring when she pulled it out the salt dust did a number to her chrome parts. I pulled all my bikes out today, started them up and let them run for a little while. I'll keep waiting for that right day, it's around the corner somewhere, I'll just keep looking and waiting. I remember winters when a bunch of us would get a ride in every month during the winter. Sometimes we would see who could get the most rides in during the winter months. Hey Dave remember those years? In fact the BLIZZARD RUN came out of those years. Dave would show up at my house many of times in freezing weather...."hey Stroker lets go for a ride", and if it wasn't Dave then it was Jack "Bunky" Moyer showing up. Between these two guys I'm lucky I don't have frost bite all over my body. I'm getting a little old for it now.....now it's up to you younger guys to keep the tradition alive.

Well guys, Dave and our son Jim went on a Christmas day ride. Against my better judgment. As you all know Dave had a heart attack at the end of September. But as you can see he still gets that itch to ride in the cold. They went about 20 miles. So he is doing better.

Penny And I rode yesterday. We went to dinner in Spartanburg, just over 30 miles round trip. It was a balmy 73 degrees. Three weeks ago we rode to the Easy Rider show in Charlotte. We gotta love these South Carolina winters.

Well, I've had the chance to get a ride in every month now, Nov. Dec. Jan. and now February. I was hopeing to get a ride in this month but there was just to much d**n salt on the road to take the bike out, but on Monday February 4, one of the Warthogs let me ride his Harley 1200. Not a bad ride, and it was pretty quick, I tried not to get on it to much, the roads were wet and a little slick. Now, I know that aint grap to you guys (Redneck) in the south but as you know, up here in the north......thats brag-gen rights! Anytime we can get a ride in during the winter months....we are brag-gen. Stroker PS - Is Penny ridding her own bike yet?

O'K Stroker, You have bragging rights. But in August when it's 85 or 90 degrees there and over 100 here I won't be riding. To hot to breath much less ride. My Mother said it was snowing there today. Gee, I had to fill up my bike for the 2nd this week on my way home from work. Ohio winters S_CK! Penny has been riding in a parking lot near us. She aint ready for the road yet. People down here do not know how to drive! Y'all up north stay cool.
