I wanted to update you on MB Bike Week.
Horry County will be limiting vendors to 7 days in the county for the 2 weeks. The first week is the cruiser week. The second is the sport bike week, which is the week they want to stop. Most of the vendors will be there the first week. B&M Custom Cycles in MB since 1989 closed their doors for good. Their sign out front says "Hey City Council You S--K". They were one of the largest after market parts dealers in the area. As of Friday Feb. 20,2009, the new laws passed by MB city council are tied up in Federal Court. We all know how slow they are, so expect the new laws to be in place for bike week.
Mike Shank, the promoter for bike, said "it will still go on".
I am going for 2 or 3 days to see how things go.
If you plan on going, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BAFFLES IN YOUR PIPES!. MB Police will be strictly enforcing Noise and Helmet Laws.
