Okay group, where would you like the 2009 V-Twin Cruisers MC "V-Twin Rendezvous" to be held at? I need this info before the end of December. A lot of club members need to turn in their vacation time by the first of the year. After the club officers look over the list of places for the event to be held at and agree on that location I will make an announcement January 1st 2009 of that location and the date of the Rendezvous.

How 'bout heading north this time, maybe Bangor Maine or somewhere like that? Maybe around the New England States.

We are looking at the first week of August, from Tuesday the 4th to Sunday the 9th of 2009.A lot of members have brought up the "ADIRONDACKS" in upsate New York. I've talked to Crusher...president of the NY chapter and he said they would be willing to help out. We have been looking at the Lake George area. www.visitlakegeorge.com If this sounds like a place you would like to visit for the V-Twin Rendezvou .......please let us know.

Well after all that, this is what the club decided on.
This years club "RENDEZVOUS" will be in the Finger Lakes area of New York. July 21 - 26. We will be staying at the Knights Inn 2707 Westinghouse Rd. Horseheads, NY. Rooms are $58.00 a night and includes outdoor pool, Sun-deck with Jacuzzi Tub, Continental Breakfast, Refrigerator and Microwave in all rooms, TV with cable, Bike Wash area, and Bike parking in front of your rooms.
Reservations: call Sam at 607-739-3807, tell him your with V-Twin Cruisers Motorcycle Club when booking room.
Horseheads, NY is 280 miles from Cleveland and is about a 4 !/2 hour ride.

Are you planning to leave on Tuesday? Mary and I stayed in Watkins Glen last year and it was an easy one day ride home.
We are thinking of leaving the prior Sat and going to the Adirondacks, getting there Sun and spending a couple of days up there and then coming badk south to meet up with the club.
Anyone interested in a little extra riding ?

Ya, we are leaving Tuesday morning and riding straight up there. I already have my rooms booked at the motel. Looks like about a 5 to 6 hour ride on the bikes. Mapquest says its 4 hours by car.
