We had a great time on this one. The event was Sunday September 21st for the Blue Knights "Mark Lacchio Run" at camp Ho-Mita-Koda. V-Twin Cruisers MC N.E. Ohio chapter met at McDonald's on Auburn Rd. at the intersection of I-90 & SR-44. The weather for this event was great! sunny and warm. After the usual BS'ing we headed for Camp Ho-Mita-Koda in Newbury, Ohio. I have always enjoyed this run. The camp is for diabetic children and the money raised from the run goes toward the cost of camperships for the kids. The camp is designed for children with diabetes so they can have fun, make new friends, and learn about living with diabetes. The camp is located on 75 beautiful wooded acres on Auburn Rd. in Newbury, Ohio. When we arrived they had the fire burning in the old stone fireplace along with coffee, donuts and cookies. The ride was about an hour long (police escorted) going through the country side and small towns and then back to camp Ho-Mita-Koda for a brunch with meatballs and polish sausage, chips and pop along with some good biker fellowship and door prizes.
